Settlement and British Citizenship

You can obtain settled status in the United Kingdom through various routes. These can include if you have been resident under the business, investor or work category along with other family immigration categories.

British citizenship can be obtained in many ways. These can be from birth where either of your parents is settled or British, residency in the United Kingdom for the last 5 years (for example where you are under the marriage category), birth and residency in the United Kingdom for at least 10 years and so on.
